Experienced Rider Class Aug.8, 2PM-8PM

Postby allstateclub on Mon Jul 19, 2010 12:04 pm

Polaris Career center in Middleburg Hts. will be having the second (and last for 2010) Scooter only ERC on Aug. 8th. Cost is $25 and registration is done online at http://www.polaris.edu. To register, go to the website, go to "Adult Education", go to "Motorcycle Safety", go to "Experienced Rider Cource", go to "Class Schedule", scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. The Scooter ERC is listed as "Scooter School 1 - Experienced".

Or, take your chances that the class won't be full and register the day of the class as a walk in.

To take the ERC you MUST have the following;
valid MC endorsement on your license
DOT helmet
long sleeves
long pants
shoes that cover your ankles
full fingered gloves
your own scooter
eye protection

I know this is somewhat of a short notice, but I've been out of town since mid June, sorry. Hope we have a full class.

I took the Class this Spring. It is a fun and informative time, with good hands on skills training. Highly recommended!!

BUMP! I loved this class and will hope R.D can squeeze it on before our move. If he is going to hit Southern Ca roads he is going to need all the help he can get. Heck I may need even need the refresher.

A final reminder (and an attempt to get this subject to the top of the list). If you're not doing a ride to Little Italy, or you're done going there and available by 2PM, I'd like to have everyone at the Scooter ERC at Polaris. It could be the best $25 you'll spend on your scoot all year! See youz tonight at the Lizard.

Hi Bill (if you are reading this) Just went on the polaris site to register R.D. and it says there is a wait list- is this correct? The other courses you can "add to cart". Should he just show up and hope for a cancellation...or is this a possible tech glitch?

Also The 2x I have been to Polaris I have been disasterously lost and both times could not find my ERC or BRC classes. I think everyone was hiding in the bushes or something. Once you are on the campus where exactly should he meet the class (I was planning on riding down with him).

There's plenty of openings for him, just arrive about 1:30 and pull into the parking lot, then pull straight ahead on the south side of the building. Have the building on your left and there should be 2 BRC classes going on in the parking lot to your right. I'll be on the south east range which will be the farthest one on your right. There should also be several other scooterists there - easy to spot. We've got 6 pre-registered students as of 3PM Sat. Call me if you have any questions.
